Give it a Wheel!

Think you could hack a wheelchair obstacle course? Shoot a hoop from a chair? Score a try in wheelchair rugby? Accept the challenge and come show us what you’ve got!

A disability sports expo including a Wheelchair Obstacle Course is being held at Masterton Genesis Recreation centre on Saturday 16th March 2013 from 10.00am – 2.00pm. POSTPONED – DATE TO BE CONFIRMED.

All are welcome to come and see what is on offer. Parafed are running demonstrations of basketball
and rugby with sports chairs provided for you to try out.

There will be spot prizes.  Prizes also include a weekend away for two in Martinborough!
Parafed Wellington (previously known as Wellington Paraplegic and Physically Disabled Association Inc.) is a non-profit organisation managed by a board of elected volunteers.

Their goal is to provide or facilitate sporting, recreation or leisure opportunities for their members. For many people with a physical disability it can be difficult to join in or participate in a sport or leisure activity of their own choice. Parafed Wellington can make it easier for members to achieve that goal.
