In any business the most important people are the clients first point of contact – and more often than not that is the front desk administrative staff. That friendly reassuring person on the end of the phone or greeting you by name as you enter the door. The person who is mindful of not only the clients needs but aware of his/her colleagues needs and the crucial role an administrator plays to ensure a seamless service.

We have such a position available at our Masterton clinic and are seeking a welcoming and bubbly person to greet clients at our Masterton clinic and to keep on top of all manner of administrative duties.

The role is 40hrs Monday – Friday from 8:30 – 5pm.

  • The successful applicant will be someone who:
    Meet and greet all clients and have excellent client and customer focus to build relationships.
    Tend to all incoming calls and have a good phone manner.
    Complete data entry daily.
    Liaise with the ACC on claim matters.
    Complete payment transactions, daily takings and m=weekly banking.
    Be a problem solver and multi-tasker.
    Be computer savvy whilst keen to learn more.
    Proactive and able to multi-task.
    Reliable and conscientious and trustworthy with great time management skills.
    Work unsupervised and give attention to detail.
    Have a positive attitude solutions focused attitude and be a team player.

Our practice management system is called Gensolve and full training will be provided in this. An understanding of ACC or working within the health environment will certainly be beneficial however what is most important to us is the right person and someone who is quick to learn new systems.

This position is to commerce mid to late January 2017. Applications close Dec 16th and interviews will take place on the morning of the 20th December. We realise this is close to Christmas but we would like to allow any applicants who need to give their employer notice the opportunity to do so early in the new to allow for a mid-late Jan start.
